Beneficial for all staff working in any part of an organisation as part of their induction or continuing fire safety training.
This course will fulfil the legal responsibility of employers as defined by the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
This course can be adapted to include specific company requirements and policies and thereby enhance continuity and safety
Candidates must be age 16 or over, and physically able to participate in the practical session.
This course is intended to give all candidates basic knowledge of fire safety, fire prevention and an understanding of the hazards of fire.
Candidates will understand the need for prompt, safe and correct action to be taken on the outbreak of a fire.
Candidates will experience the use of extinguishers on live fires.
